Those roster moves got made. Mon 9/6, and Tues 9/7 stats show up 9/6/10, and 9/7/10 is blank (due to me not running stats on Tuesday.
That makes 2 days this season which have multiple days's stats: 8/26/2010 and 9/6/2010

Oz - I missed the roster move deadline I think. Lost track given the three day weekend. Can Gordon be put in at 3rd? If not, no worries.

I'm fine w/ what Coach posted; sounds like what I had intended when I proposed these new bonuses. Doesn't matter where the $ comes from (to me).

Actually we were going to use same amount but split it lower (as stated).
Top 1st/2nd half - $25 each
Top Hitter/Pitcher/Day - $20 each
Comes out to $110, which is $10 per person, same as before.

We also have to fund the top team pitcher / hitter day awards... Perhaps $150 ($50 per award) of that pickup $$ goes to that pot and the rest into the main pot? In the past, everyone threw in an extra $9 to cover the 1st/second half awards... we can do away with that.
By my count there are 38 extra pickups right now which (at $5 each) = $190
This is from a post on 3/14/2010 that detailed the award: (I think the top 1st/2nd half award were done away with at a later date, as I removed them from site!)
5. Same end of season payouts to 1st and 2nd place, 3rd place ends even (pays $0); keep 1st half/2nd half payouts (but lower amount than previously); add payouts for Top Batter, Top Pitcher, and Top Day (use "leftover" money that was previously earmarked only for 1st/2nd half payout). Per Kristian, keep eye out for doubleheaders and days where points include previous days stats due to Y! error or whatever.

To be consistent, I think the money should be allocated to 1st and 2nd place teams.

Did we ever determine where the money goes from all the pickups over 12? All goes to winner is my vote.

When I emailed out the moves Sunday night, I thought about asking if I can have the pickups of Dempster and CJ Wilson apply to Kristian's balance instead of mine. But because I was not aware of the trade deadline or the fact that we couldn't trade pickups, I just thought I would get those two extra pickups eventually anyway. But rules are rules, so I'll just have to deal with it. Thanks for all your hard work Oz!

Kristian and Pete - you can't trade pickups, and the trade deadline has passed. So, you should have picked up the 2 players and traded them along with Kuroda in that deal
I am not sure why the trade got the wrong date on it. I can fix the numbers, but I am not sure what to do with the 2 pickups that are pending, as Kristian cannot trade those to Pete any more.

Oz - I traded Kuroda and 2 pickups to Pete for Liriano. I still have Kuroda on my team still. I should have some points for Liriano from last night. Could you look at that? Thanks.

Hey, so as soon as the site gets resurrected I commit a f-up. I made a pickup today while totally not recognizing I am maxed out on pickups (the site allowed the pickup). But I have a pickup that I received in a deal with Coach earlier in the season. I talked to Oz and he said to just let it be and we'll remember to dock a pickup from Coach's total. Thanks.

Thanks for all of your hard work Oz! What do you guys think about a flat entry fee starting next year? Something like $100 a person, but still have the 20 max pickups, with the last 8 pickups at $5 each (to sweeten the pot)? The payouts as a result of this year's parity is a bit of a letdown don't you think?
